The Peninsular air powered thruster is designed for use in applications when an air cylinder cannot survive because of excessive side loading. Excessive side loading leads to premature failure of the rod end cartridge and its seals.

Peninsular Pneumatic Thrusters, also known as Pneumatic Slides and Die Lifters, are available in various sizes with many features to meet a wide variety of side loaded applications requiring linear movement within destructive manufacturing systems.

All Peninsular Pneumatic Thrusters contain hardened ground and polished shafts that travel through guide bushings located within the main body of the unit, and all of our thrusters can be manufactured to either metric or English standards. In addition, Peninsular's advanced guide shaft/bushing system ensure smooth linear motion in the most demanding of side loaded applications. All Peninsular thrusters are powered by either our NFPA or Metric, internally lubricated for life, air cylinder which has proven itself for over 50 years in some of the most destructive applications imaginable.
