Our History

Peninsular was originally founded in 1948 to manufacture hydraulic & pneumatic cylinders to service Ford Motors, Chrysler and General Motors assembly and powertrain plants throughout the U.S. and Canada. Through the years, Peninsular has become a valued & trusted supplier to all industries requiring linear actuation.

We are a company who meets NFPA/JIC Tie Rod Cylinder Configuration standards. You can rely on Peninsular’s experienced team of manufacturing, engineering and customer service specialists to exceed your expectations.

We manufacture cylinders in our Roseville, Michigan facility for a wide array of industries such as automotive, forest/lumber, foundry and more.
